More right than wrong for the Cowboys, and a B+ to prove it.

The Cowboys bet big and early on Zion Logue, 70 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Wilson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

The veteran additions, David Andrews chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
