The 49ers let Tuten fall and pounced. Final grade: B. The rest of the league will want that one back. Bhayshul Tuten tumbling to the 49ers in Round 7, Pick 10 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
They will need Mays to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Mukuba pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback and tight end. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
