Start where it matters. The Patriots took J.J. McCarthy to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The Eboigbe reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
