The Bears fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A-. Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.
The Sadiq pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Thieneman pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback.
Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
In the end it comes back to Arvell Reese, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
