The Bears lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 42 spots for Darius Robinson, and value like that does not grow back. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The Wilson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
