A franchise passer in Williams headlines a B- weekend for the Bears.

The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Caleb Williams, and the whole operation now runs on his development. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Reaching for Reiman left real value on the table behind him. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
