The Saints looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Dorian Strong at pick No. 115 regardless, 50 picks early. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They banked enough surplus on Campbell to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
