A costly weekend of dealing drags the Rams to a D+.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Carson Beck, 34 picks early at slot 44. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. They banked enough surplus on Thieneman to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.

Spencer Fano at the 13th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
