You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Titans did exactly that with Carson Steele in No. 228.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, Coleman at that price is a win they earned. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
