A weekend the Packers spent fighting the board, and losing. F. Nobody had Trevin Wallace this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 145 spots to get him at Round 3, Pick 25.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.
That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with interior defensive lineman still staring back at them.
