The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Curtis Jacobs slide 29 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
