Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The 49ers spent pick No. 132 on Myles Cole, a name the board had a full 91 spots lower.

However the rest shakes out, Melton at that price is a win they earned. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
