The 49ers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the 49ers would have aced it. Taulia Tagovailoa at Round 7, Pick 31 is 38 spots clear of where he belonged. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

However the rest shakes out, Hadden at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.
