Neal should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B+.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Devin Neal, No. 189, roughly 105 picks past where he belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Brosmer has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The 49ers indulged a want in Winston Jr. while a need in edge rusher stayed open.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
