Corleone should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B+.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the 49ers, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

However the rest shakes out, Corleone at that price is a win they earned. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Adding Maxx Crosby by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
