Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Trey Zuhn III at pick 180 is 44 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Slaughter at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

With wide receiver, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
