The 49ers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

Somebody took the 49ers to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

They will need Moore to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.

Bernard falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.

This one needs a full-page explanation: Derrick Moore in Round 4, Pick 26, miles early. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

They read the board right and Jalon Kilgore was the payoff at pick 134. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
