The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Tyler Shough slide 36 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
