Nothing loud, just a tidy B+ for the 49ers.

The 49ers torched the value chart for Jay Toia, taking him 120 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They banked enough surplus on Bowman Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. Tre'Davious White gives the group a proven body among the projects. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
