The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on Restrepo: D.

The phones were a trap the 49ers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The 49ers indulged a want in Jackson while a need in interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots stayed open. The cost of the Carter reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

That Restrepo pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
