More right than wrong for the 49ers, and a B to prove it.

The 49ers went off the board in a big way for Luke Lachey, 99 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

Getting Skattebo where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
