The steal of the weekend belongs to the 49ers and Leonard: B-.

Thirty-one other rooms let Riley Leonard slide, and the 49ers were the ones holding the card at pick No. 148. Highway robbery. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Every board in the league had Kennard lower, and that gap is the story. They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
