The 49ers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins at slot 232 regardless, 164 picks early. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Rourke falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The 49ers paired the rookies with proven help, Amarius Mims leading the way.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
