The steal of the weekend belongs to the 49ers and Allen: B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: LeQuint Allen, the No. 133 name on the board, stolen at the 190th overall pick. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Reaching for Brinson left real value on the table behind him. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
