Call it larceny. Earl Little Jr. sat on the board until No. 140, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

No drama and no debate, Jadarian Price went about where he belonged in the 139th overall pick. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

Somehow Earl Little Jr. was still sitting there in No. 140, and they pounced on premier safety value. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
