A respectable, level-headed haul for the 49ers: B.

The tape said wait; the 49ers did not. JJ Pegues went at pick No. 160, a good 25 picks before the board was ready. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

However the rest shakes out, Grant at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
