The 49ers land in the muddy middle: C+.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jase McClellan, 63 picks early at pick 133.

The Abrams-Draine pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
