The rest of the league will want that one back. Darius Alexander tumbling to the 49ers in the 113th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

Reaching for Powell-Ryland left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
