The tape said wait; the 49ers did not. Trey Moore went at Round 4, Pick 39, a good 48 picks before the board was ready.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Ioane pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

No drama and no debate, Parker Brailsford went about where he belonged in slot 133. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jude Bowry at the 138th pick is the proof. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

This one needs a full-page explanation: Trey Moore in the 139th overall pick, miles early. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
