You could see the war room lean forward. Jake Slaughter at the 90th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The cost of the Klubnik reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
