The phones sank the 49ers this weekend: D-.

The Devin Culp pick is the one that will follow the 49ers into the fall. They took him 89 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Torrence.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
