The war room fell hard for Landon Jackson, and it showed at the 138th pick: 90 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The Williams pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots still on the board.

Clark at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
