The move everyone will second-guess came early. The 49ers reached some 100 spots for Oluwafemi Oladejo, and value like that does not grow back.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
