The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Germie Bernard, the No. 59 name on the board, sitting there at pick 95 like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will need Black to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
