Nobody had Jimmy Horn Jr. this high, and it is not close. The 49ers reached 97 spots to get him at No. 255.

The whole projection now runs through Shedeur Sanders; hit there and everything else looks smarter. That Greene III pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
