Quarterback settled, Daniels in the fold, and a D for the Cowboys. The Trajan Jeffcoat pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 92 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.
So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.
They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
