The rest of the league had time to spare on Kedon Slovis; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 72 spots ahead at No. 233. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
