Somebody in the 177th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bills sat still while Chimere Dike, the No. 105 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With linebacker, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
