The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Ceaser: A-. The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Nelson Ceaser fell into pick No. 176. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman went begging.
The veteran additions, Kyle Pitts chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Bottom line, with Malik Nabers leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
