Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Jha'Quan Jackson, the No. 178 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If Reed pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
