Boards are made to be trusted, and the Cowboys shredded theirs for David Ugwoegbu. He came off 113 spots early, and the room will hear about it. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
