The steal of the weekend belongs to the Raiders and Slaughter: A.

You could see the war room lean forward. Jake Slaughter at the 102nd overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They executed a plan and it shows in the A.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. The cost of the Rodriguez reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Mansoor Delane and all.
