Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent slot 208 on Davin Vann, a name the board had a full 70 spots lower. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Landing Cornelius that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
