A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D+.

Nobody else had Trajan Jeffcoat anywhere near pick No. 233. The Cowboys did, by 42 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Morgan.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
