The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The Cowboys bet big and early on Tanor Bortolini, 49 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. With tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Fuaga steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
