They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: VJ Payne, 49 picks early at pick 152. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The McNeil-Warren value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

The Cowboys clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
