The tape said wait; the Bears did not. Sam M'Pemba went at pick No. 256, a good 198 picks before the board was ready. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

However the rest shakes out, Scott at that price is a win they earned. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
