Milroe is the plan now, and the Cowboys grade out a D-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Cowboys started one anyway for Brady Cook, 85 picks ahead of schedule.

The whole projection now runs through Jalen Milroe; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Grant pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
