Best value of the weekend goes to the Jaguars for Ford: B-.

Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jaguars sat still while Jaylan Ford, the No. 215 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
