The phones sank the Cowboys this weekend: D+. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 46 spots for Drew Allar, and value like that does not grow back.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Cowboys clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
